Hungry Crocodile - Riviere des Anguilles

Our restaurant, The Hungry Crocodile, is part of the "Vanille Réserve des Mascareignes" nature park, located in the South of Mauritius.

The La Vanille park is a picturesque and idyllic nature reserve of luxuriant greenery. It is home to various species of animals, reptiles and plants including the famous crocodiles and giant tortoises.

When visiting the park and sitting in the restaurant you will be surrounded by beautiful palms, banana plants, and will feel like dining at the top of a tropical rainforest.

The Hungry Crocodile restaurant offers a pleasant setting amongst the trees and birds. This is the place to enjoy our delicious menu in a tranquil setting.

At the restaurant you will find an exotic range of Mauritians dishes, Crocodile meat special and various drinks and snacks.

When visiting the Hungry Crocodile restaurant, make sure to try our specialties dishes made with crocodile meat. Many say the crocodile meat resembles the taste of chicken…..but nothing like trying one of our delicious crocodile dishes firsthand.
